Basic Properties of Sinkage and Shearing

Description

The soil link interaction model based on Bekker, Janosi, and McKyes approaches. The soil mechanics parameter required for the sinkage and shearing forces model are provided below. For additional details, see appendix A and the theoretical manual.

Parameters

KCB: (REAL); k_c of Bekker.
KPHIB: (REAL); k_Φ of Bekker.
NB: (REAL); n of Bekker.
CB: (REAL); C of Bekker.
AP_basic: (REAL); The plasticity factor 0≤AP≤1.
KJ_basic: (REAL); k of Janosi.
RJbasic: (REAL); r of modified Janosi.
JMAX_basic: (REAL); j_max of modified Janosi.; If JMAX_basic<0, then JMAX_basic=|JMAX_basic|*link length and link length=length1+length2+length4
JULT_basic: (REAL); j_u of modified Janosi, if JULT_basic<0, then JULT_basic=|JULT_basic|*link length.
AS_basic: (REAL); The plasticity factor of the shearing 0≤AS1≤1.; The factor is used to simulate the plasticity effect using Janosi equation.
AM_basic: (REAL); The plasticity factor of the grouser force 0≤AM≤1.
