Engine Keyword Generates animation files containing element
data for the specified result. Options used for beam, spring and truss element
types.

SI Unit Example |
Eltyp |
- ELEM
- The variable is saved for all types of elements; except
where not applicable.
- BEAM
- Beam elements
- SPRING
- Spring elements
- TRUS
- Truss elements
|
|
Restype |
- AMS
- Elements using AMS timestep due to /DT/CST_AMS
- DAM1, DAM2 or
DAM3
- Damage in direction 1, 2 or 3
- DENS
- Density
- DT
- Element time step. 5
- ENER
- Specific energy density (internal energy divided by the
element mass).
- EPSP
- Plastic strain
. For beam elements the mean
plastic strain is calculated between all cross-section
integration points of the beam.
- ESPN/N
- Plastic strain
output for integration point
number N for /PROP/TYPE18
(INT_BEAM).
- ESPN/All
- Plastic strain
output for all integration
points for /PROP/TYPE18
(INT_BEAM).

- Shear stress ZX
- TEMP
- Temperature
- THIC
- Thickness
- USRi
- Variable of user law (
=1 to 18).
- VONM
- von Mises stress.
- MACH
- Mach number (/MAT/LAW151 (MULTIFLUID)
only).
- OFF
- Element status
- Where,
- = -1
- Element is not active (it is defined in an
activated rigid body).
- = 0
- Deleted element.
- Between 0 and
1
- Under failure process.
- = 1
- Active element.
- DAMG
- Mean damage value over integration points (only for
/FAIL/GURSON). 6
- EPSX
- Total strain XX (for TRUSS element
only).

Comments
- Damage
in springs is defined as the maximum value between time 0 and the current time of
the displacement versus failure displacement ratio: (1)
- For /PROP/TYPE13 (SPR_BEAM)
springs, damage direction 1 is traction/compression, 2 and 3 are shear y and z.
- For /PROP/TYPE8 (SPR_GENE)
springs, damage directions 1, 2 and 3 are, respectively x, y and z.
- The "SPH outputs" are
available with /ANIM/Eltyp =
ELEM/Restype (all Restype
values; except Restype = THIC or
HOURG). The Restype values:
DAM1, DAM2 or DAM3 are
only available with material LAW24 for brick element.
- Element time step shows in
animation only if elementary time step are computed for this element by Radioss. If nodal time step used
(/DT/NODA) in computation , then no element time step shows in
animation.
- Option
DAMG only used with /FAIL/GURSON to
output damage value (ratio of total void volume fraction in current to it at
ductile failure).(2)
