Description

Distance Comparison

Calculates the distance between a part and reference part, and contours the distance on the reference part for the current time step.

Blank–Tool Gap

Calculates the distance between the tools and blank for a selected time step, and then posts the contour in a new window. For this utility, you need to specify the blank object as an input.

Import and Trace Line

Imports a CAD data line, via the Line Tracing panel, and traces it back to its initial step from the final step. For this utility, you need to specify the line and the blank object as an input.

FLD

Opens the FLD panel.

Section Cut

Opens the Section Cut panel.

Draw-In Plot

Measures draw-in, via the Measures panel, at desired locations of the blank on the tool face. For this utility, you need to specify the blank object and tool object as an input. For the tool object, select the blank holder for a single-action draw process, or the die for a double-action draw process.

Tensor-Plot

Opens the Tensor Plot panel and plots the major and minor strain on individual elements as a vector.

Export H3D

Exports results in an H3D file.

Export STL

Exports the deformed blank in an STL file.

Publish Report

Publishes results in an HTML file. You have the option to publish the following: a) deformed shape, b) plastic strain, c) % thinning, and d) FLD.
