Numeric block parameters are always calculated in up to 15 significant decimal digits (high precision); however, you have the choice of displaying them in up to 6 or 15 significant decimal digits. When displaying values in high precision, the size of some blocks, such as slider and display blocks, may grow to accommodate the display.
To change the display of significant decimal digits
1. Choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Click the Preferences tab.
3. Set High Precision to calculate in up to 15 significant decimal digits. Clear the option to calculate in up to 6 significant decimal digits.
4. Click OK, or press ENTER.
