Signal data types

When you activate View > Data Types and de-activate View > Presentation Mode, the connector tabs on blocks are colored to indicate the types of data (or signal) entering and exiting the blocks, as shown in the table below.

Light red	Float
Red	Double
Light magenta	Structure
Magenta	Matrix COMPLEX
Dark magenta	Matrix double or COMPLEX
Purple	String
Light green	Char
Green	Short, integer, or enum ComboItem
Dark green	Long
Light blue	Unsigned char
Blue	Unsigned short
Dark blue	Unsigned long or void
Cyan	Matrix pointer

For plots, meters, and stripCharts, the input connector tabs reflect a color for the signal trace and not the data type.
