Snapping system states

You can snap the states of unitDelay, integrator, resetIntegrator, limitedIntegrator, stateSpace, and transferFunction blocks.

When you snap states, Embed overwrites the initial conditions of the blocks with their current output states. Snapping states is useful when you want to run a simulation to a stable operating point and, from there, experiment with the system.

State values are saved in memory; to save them to disk, use the File > Save command.

To snap state values to memory

1.    Run the simulation to a specific point of interest.

2.    Choose Simulate > Snap States.
