Meshing the Model

Create the mesh with the correct settings.

1. Open the Create mesh dialog using one of the following workflows:
   • On the Mesh tab, in the Meshing group, click the  Create mesh icon.
   • Press Ctrl+M to use the keyboard shortcut.
2. Set the Mesh size to Standard.

Set the global wire segment radius for the model. For this example the global wire segment radius is used for the transmission line.

3. Set the Wire segment radius to 0.004.

   
   

   

   
   

   Note: The wire segment radius of the monopole was set locally. A local mesh size overrides a global mesh size.
4. Click Mesh to mesh the model and close the dialog.
