Solving a Region with the Dielectric Surface Impedance Approximation

Activate the dielectric surface impedance approximation solution method for an homogeneous, lossy dielectric region. Use the solution method to compute SAR values for an homogeneous phantom.

  1. Select the region (or regions) in the in the 3D view or in the details tree that you want to solve with the dielectric surface impedance approximation.
  2. In the details tree, from the right-click context menu, select Properties.
  3. On the Region properties dialog, click the Solution tab.
  4. Under Solution method, from the drop-down list, select Dielectric surface impedance approximation.
  5. Click OK to save the region properties and to close the dialog.
