Young's Modulus

When you create a new material in My Materials, you can define its stiffness and linear elasticity by using Young's modulus in one of three ways. Select Constant, Exponential Decay, or Data Points to define it.

Constant

Default option

Exponential Decay

Enter an Initial value and Saturated value. Enter a float value for Exponent, where the default is 0.0.

Data Points

                E = Youngs Modulus
                Einf = Saturated value
                CE = Exponent
                Ep = Plastic strain changes from 0 to 1.0 for X - axis

This equation is used to create the data point and curve. The Initial value will be the first datapoint for plastic strain of 0.0.
