Mouse Controls and Hot Keys

Mouse controls and hot keys options are available in HyperView Player, which are the same as the options defined in HyperView:

Mouse Controls

Rotate
Ctrl+Left Button
Rotates the graphic using the center of the window as the center point of rotation. The graphic rotates as the cursor is dragged and stops rotating when the cursor is at rest. When Arc Ball is assigned to a mouse control, a small white square appears in the center of the window. The cursor is displayed as the following icon, .
Circle zoom
Ctrl+Middle Button
Magnifies a selected section of the graphic. The cursor is displayed as the following icon, .
Translate
Ctrl+Right Button
Dynamically spins the graphic using the center of the window as the center point of rotation. T he graphic continues to tumble as long as the mouse button and the assigned controls are pressed. When Tumble is assigned, a small white square appears in the center of the window. The cursor is displayed as a two-headed arrow with a bar perpendicular to it, .
Tumble
Ctrl+Shift+Left Button

Vertical zoom
Ctrl+Shift+Middle Button
Scales the graphic in relation to the vertical position of the pointer on the screen. The cursor is displayed as the following icon, .
Pick center
Ctrl+Shift+Right Button
Repositions the graphic in relation to the center of the screen. When Pick Center is assigned to a mouse control, a small white square appears in the center of the window. The cursor is displayed as a crossbar with a circle center, .
Targeted Zoom
Ctrl+Wheel
Scales the graphic in relation to the wheel movement of the mouse.

Hot Keys

Hot Keys are keyboard shortcuts which allow faster access to menu controls and some frequently used options.
H Hide a component.
Shift + H Hides components by window selection.
L Display feature lines.
M Display mesh lines.
F Fit a model in the graphic window.
E Display edges.
T Display transparent boundary geometry for hidden parts.
Shift + S Display smooth/flat shading of the model.
