PARAM, CRTELEM

Bulk Data Entry Controls the printing of the “n” smallest element/nodal timesteps for Nonlinear Explicit Analysis.

Parameter Values Description
CRTELEM <Integer>

Default = 10

This parameter is used to control the printing of the “n” smallest element/nodal timesteps for Nonlinear Explicit Analysis.
  • The value “n” is defined by CRTELEM.
  • This printing is output to both the <filename>.out file and a new <filename>.HM.crtelem.cmf file.
  • This timestep information is printed by default and the number of timesteps printed can be controlled by PARAM,CRTELEM,#.

Example

The following is printed to the .out file for a model when PARAM,CRTELEM,20 is:
20 smallest element/nodal timesteps
