Analyze Part

Use the Analyze Part tool to extract loads from a motion analysis for use in structural (FE) analysis of a part.

Location: Motion ribbon, Run tools, Analyze Part icon

This opens the Run Analysis window, where you can define and run a linear static, normal modes, or buckling modes analysis. Use the satellite icons to view the run status and run history.

When you analyze a part using a motion run, the part is loaded from the results of the motion simulation. You can choose to select which points in time are analyzed by extracting the peak loads, evenly spaced time samples, all time samples, or range of times.
