Removing a Model from a Document Type

When removing a model from a document type — whether it be a report, index or premining model — you need to specify a replacement model. (A document type cannot be saved without an assigned model.)

Note: You will also need to run a Re-index maintenance task to update the changes to a document type.

To remove a model from a document type

1. On the Navigation Tree, click Report Warehouse, then click Document Management and select Document Types to display the Document Types page.

2. Click the name of the document type you want to remove a model from or clicking anywhere on its row, and then click .

3. Click the Index Models button or the Premining Models button to display the Select Model page.

4. Select a new model.

5. To add a report model to the document type, drag its name from the Available Report Models pane to the Assigned Report Models pane.

6. To remove a report model from the document type, drag its name from the Assigned Report Models pane to the Available Report Models pane.

7. Click Save to save the changes.
