Map an object or multiple objects onto a face or multiple faces.

When selecting faces, select a set of open faces or a single closed face. This is similar to the Stretch tool, but uses a surface as the reference object instead of a curve.

  1. On the ribbon, click the Modify tab.
  2. Click the SurfDrape icon.

  3. Click the object, and then right-click to confirm.
  4. Click the target face, and then right-click to confirm.
The object will be mapped onto to the target faces and can be repositioned.
  5. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
