bdeGetBlockParameterTab

Returns the section that the parameter is in within block.

Syntax

section = bdeGetBlockParameterTab(block, parameter)

Inputs

block: The block to get the parameter section from.; Type: block
parameter: The parameter used to get the section tab.; Type: string

Outputs

section: The section tab that the parameter is in.; Type: string

Examples

Get the tab section of a parameter in a block:


          diagram = bdeGetCurrentDiagram();
          block = bdeGetSelectedBlock(diagram);
          section = bdeGetBlockParameterTab(block, 'testParameter');
