Define Default Surface Conditions

Use the Defaults tool to define global surface conditions for thermal radiation.

If conditions are set using the other Thermal Radiation Surfaces tools, the parameters defined in this tool will be overridden.
  1. From the Radiation ribbon, click the arrow next to the Thermal Radiation Surfaces tool set, then select Defaults.

    Figure 1.
The Default Radiation Boundary dialog opens.
  2. Click the Radiation condition tab from the Settings menu. Define values for the default radiation boundary settings.
  3. Click the Output controls tab. Define the output frequency and/or output time interval at which results are extracted.
  4. Click the Agglomeration tab. Activate the check box, if desired, and input agglomeration values.
