Types of mesh

In order to mesh the bidirectional conductors , a single type of discretization of the plane of current flow is provided. It is a manual mesh type with a uniform distribution of the elements.

Uniform mesh

A mesh with uniform distribution of elements (elements of the same size) is characterized by a number of elements along the two directions of the conductor.

The rectangle encompassing the plate is uniformly meshed with numbers n and m of the PEEC elements that the user has previously indicated.

This can lead at the borders to:

• generate meshes with a portion of their section outside the conductor contour
• neglect some areas of the conductor surface. Indeed, the meshes, possibly added to cover these areas, would have a large part of their section outside the conductor contour
