Line: definition (structure)
Definition
A line is defined by:
- a number
- a type
- specific characteristics belonging to a type
- its nature
Number
The number to identify the line is automatically allocated by Flux during the line creation.
Types of lines
The different types of lines and the characteristics useful for their description are gathered in the tables below:
Segment defined by | Description |
---|---|
starting and ending points | Starting and ending points defining segment |
Arc defined by | Description | ||
---|---|---|---|
its angle, starting and ending points | Coordinates system which orients the arc around the Z axis | Angle of the arc around Z axis | Starting point and ending point |
center coordinates, starting and ending points | Coordinates system which orients the arc around the Z axis | Coordinates of the center | Starting point and ending point |
its radius, starting and ending points | Coordinates system which orients the arc around the Z axis | Arc radius | Starting point and ending point |
starting, ending and center points | Coordinates system which orients the arc around the Z axis | Center point | Starting point and ending point |

Nature of lines
A specific feature, called nature, is attached to the lines. This attribute allows to set the following functions:
