Attach a Note to an Entity

To attach a note to an entity:
  1. From the Annotations toolbar, click Notes .
  2. From the Notes panel, select a note in the Notes list.
  3. Under Attach to, select Entity.
  4. Select an entity from the input collector menu.
    • Node
    • Element
    • Component
    • System
  5. Select the entity.
    • Click the input collector (Node, Element, Component, or System) and select By ID.
    • Pick an entity (node, element, component, or system) directly from the model in the modeling window.
  6. Click Apply.
    The note is attached to the selected entity.
