The Component panel allows you to specify attributes such as elements, material, forming limit curve (FLC) and thickness to a part. From the Setup menu, select Components to use this panel.
Before you specify component parameters, you must organize the part elements.

How do I...
| 1. | Click component: and select the component |
| 2. | Click thickness = and enter the thickness value. |
| 3. | Click elems and use the extended entity selection menu to specify the elements. |
| 4. | Click update to identify this area as the part. |

The name of the default component is Part.
| 2. | Click material: and select the material. |
| 3. | Click FLD Curve: and select the forming limit curve (FLC). |
| 4. | Click thickness = and enter the thickness value. |
| 6. | Click elems and use the extended entity selection menu to specify the elements. |
| 7. | Click move to relocate the selected elements to the newly created component. |
