Drawbeads (RADIOSS Incremental)

The Drawbeads panel allows you to create, update or remove drawbeads for incremental analysis.

expand-green-10Create a drawbead

In the RADIOSS Incremental user profile:

1.Enter a name for the drawbead.
2.Select a color.
3.Select the master elements and slave nodes (nodes that lie along the drawbead). The blank makes up the master surface.
4.You can either enter the force as a percent of that required for lockbead or calculate it from the drawbead dimensions.
5.Click create.

 

 

In the LS-DYNA Incremental user profile:

1.Enter a name for the drawbead.
2.Select a color.
3.Set the option to box/no box.  It is recommended that you define a box to limit the size of the master surface.
4.Select the master elements and slave nodes (nodes that lie along the drawbead). The blank makes up the master surface.
5.Define the drawbead depth (necessary to determine the correct displacement) and FS (coefficient of static friction)
6.You can either enter the force as a percent of that required for lockbead or calculate it from the drawbead dimensions.
7.Click create.
