CurrentComputationOn2DGrid.PFM

Description

The "CurrentComputationOn2DGrid.PFM" macro permits to calculate the total current (real and imaginary parts) that crosses the surface of a 2D grid. In other words, this macro calculates the integral of the normal component of the current density on the surface of the 2D grid.

The result, expressed in Amps, is displayed in the “History zone” of the Flux PEEC window and it is equally stored in the data tree as a “Computation result” entity in the “Post-Processing” menu.

It should be noted that this current is calculated only for the current step of the solving scenario.

Input

  • 2D grid on which to make the computation of the current

Output

  • Total current that crosses the surface of the 2D grid
