Starting with version 2021.0, the “local” or “internal” Kafka connectivity is deprecated. To connect to the CEP engine, use the external setup.
To connect to an external setup:

Before connecting to the CEP engine, ensure the following are running: · Confluent Kafka Enterprises services if you are using a Dockerized Kafka. · ZooKeeper, Kafka, and Schema Registry batch files if you are using a local cluster.
