Pan and Zoom

Pan and zoom using the mouse and keyboard.

Pan

Move the view horizontally and vertically in the modeling window.

Do one of the following:
  • Drag with the right mouse button.
  • Drag while simultaneously pressing the left and right mouse buttons.

Zoom

Move the view closer to or farther away from the model.

Use the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom. The center of the zoom is determined by your cursor position.
Tip:
  • Hold down Alt while dragging with the middle or right mouse button. This performs a smooth zoom about the screen center.
  • You can change the scrolling speed in the Preferences.
