Add a sub-period for an already created period or sub-period.
Only an Budget Manager
administrator can add a sub-period.
Periods can be divided into sub-periods and then the sub-periods can be further
divided with a maximum depth restriction of ten. For example, a period can be adding
representing the year 2019. Sub-periods for the parent period can be added representing
yearly quarters. The quarters can then be further divided into months, the months can
be broken down into weeks, and weeks can be broken down into days.
Click the Configure tab.
Click Periods from the Budget Manager menu
located on the left-hand side of the web page.
Click located to the right of the period or the
sub-period (the parent period).
For Period Name, enter a name that represents the
sub-period.
The name of the sub-period must be unique, i.e., there are no other periods or
sub-periods having that name. Valid characters are A-Z, a-z, 0-9, underscores,
dashes, period, tilde (~).
Enter a start date and end date for the sub-period:
The start date and end date of the sub-period must be within the range of the
parent period.
For Start Date, use the calendar widget to
choose a start date.
For End Date, use the calendar widget to choose
an end date.
The end date must be greater or equal to the start date and cannot
exceed the end date of the parent period.
