Comments
- A surface is a set of 3-node
or 4-node segments. It can be defined:
- explicitly, with segment connectivity
- by box
- by subsets or parts (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to these entities are used to define the surface)
- by submodels (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to parts in the listed submodels are used to define the surface)
- by properties or materials (all 3-node and 4-node shells belonging to these entities are used to define the surface)
- by shell groups
- with other surfaces
- All nodes must belong to a shell element, a brick element or a triangular shell element.
- A surface cannot be defined using Madymo surfaces.
