Description process
Introduction
A time dependent study / parametric analysis unfolds in the same manner as a "classical" study.
Supplementary stages are inserted into the main ones, in the various modules: geometry building, meshing, physics, solving process, results post-processing.
Process (1)
Various definition stages of a time dependent study are presented in the table below.
It is a simplified summary of the description process, within which the time dependent studies have been separated (individualized). The most general case is a mixture of these various studies taken individually.
Stage | Description | |
---|---|---|
0 | Automatic creation of parameter TIME | |
1 | Definition of variable quantities in function of time | |
via TIME parameter | via I/O parameter | |
|
|
|
2 |
Creation of sensors* (to evaluate the quantities on various supports, etc.) |
|
3 |
Creation of a scenario to control the solving process (definition of the I/O parameters variations) |
|
4 |
Solving process with the scenario prepared in stage 3 |
|
5 |
Results post-processing of the scenario prepared in stage 3 (see § Results post-processing ) |
Process (2)
