Graphic representation
Introduction
This section concerns the graphic representation of the modeled device.
When referring to the graphic representation of a device, we are interested:
- on one hand, in the different entities and their appearance: points and their visibility, lines and their color, faces, surface elements….
- on the other hand, in the type of displayed view: side view, top view, bottom view, global view, … in its position and dimensions in the graphic display zone.
The first aspect of the graphic representation (called visualization of entities) is treated in chapter Data management .
The second aspect (called graphic view) is treated in this chapter.
This section presents the following:
- concepts of graphic view
- possibilities to modify the view (displacement, rotation, zoom, etc.)
- presentation of predefined views (standard view, base plane views, opposite view, etc.)
