Define Goals (Objectives/Constraints)

Goals are used to define objectives and constraints.

Goals can be defined in the following ways:
  • Define goals for the active output response.
    1. Go to the Define Output Responses step.
    2. Click the Define Output Responses tab.
    3. In the Goals column, click .
      A dialog opens.
    4. In the Type column, select the type of goal to create.
    5. In columns 1 and 2, define additional options as needed.
    6. Click OK.

  • Define goals manually.
    1. Go to the Define Output Responses step.
    2. Click the Objectives/Constraints - Goals tab.
    3. Click Add Goal.
    4. In the Apply On column, select the output response to which this goal will be applied.
    5. In the Type column, select the type of goal to create.
    6. In columns 1 and 2, define additional options as needed.
