Returns the collectors that fully contain the input entities.

hm_getwhollycontainedcollectormark entity_type entity_mark_id collector_mark_id reverse

Description

This command returns the collectors that fully contain the input entities.

Inputs

entity_type
  • The type of entity to query. Valid values are:
  • elems (output is components)
  • loads (output is load collectors)
  • curves (output is plots)
  • systs (output is system collectors)
  • vectors (output is vector collectors)
entity_mark_id
The ID of the mark containing the input entities. Valid values are 1 and 2.
collector_mark_id
The ID of the mark containing the collectors that fully contain the input entities. The collector type is dependent on the specified entity_type. Valid values are 1 and 2.
reverse
  • 0 - Find only fully contained collectors.
  • 1 - Find not-fully contained collectors.

Examples

To find the components that fully contain elements 1-100:
*createmark elems 1 1-100
hm_getwhollycontainedcollectormark elems 1 1 0
To find the components that simply contain elements 1-100:
*createmark elems 1 1-100
hm_getwhollycontainedcollectormark elems 1 1 1

Errors

Incorrect usage results in a Tcl error. To detect errors, you can use the catch command:
if { [ catch {command_name...} ] } {
   # Handle error
}
