Rename

Rename an object from the Model Browser or modeling window.

1. Do one of the following:
   • Click the name in the Model Browser.
   • Right-click the name in the Model Browser or right-click the object in the modeling window, and then click Rename.
2. Type a new name. Names can be any length and can usually consist of any combination of letters, numbers, spaces, or special characters.
   Tip: If you plan to export your model to other applications, follow any restrictions the software may have. Typically, the following characters should be avoided: " ' * ? $.
3. Press Enter.
4. Click once on the object, wait for a second and click again to rename. OR
5. Right-click on a selected object either in the modeling view or models browser and select 'Rename' option.
