Create a Section Cut

Create and view 2D section planes of your model. This function is particularly useful when you want to see inside a model.

1. In the view controls, click the Section Cut tool.
2. In the Control Panel, click one or more of the following options to create up to three section cuts:
   • Plane 1: This corresponds to the y-z plane.
   • Plane 2: This corresponds to the x-z plane.
   • Plane 3: This corresponds to the x-y plane.
3. Drag a section plane to reposition it, or use the Control Panel options to Flip it or change the Distance.
4. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
