Mesh Groups
Mesh Groups, also called Assemblies, are specific to the EXODUS profile.
Mesh group data can be defined in ASCII format under the keyword “MESH DATA” through an *.inp file, and/or it can be in binary (HDF5) format in an *.ex2 file. Engineering Solutions supports import from both formats and merges the data if they are defined in both files. Currently, you can only export into binary format (*.ex2).
