Apply material properties to welds in the assembly.

In the Project Tree, click the Connections workbench.

On the workbench toolbar, select one of the following:
- Click to apply material properties to seam welds.
- Click to apply material properties to spot welds.

In the dialog, choose a material from the material tree and apply to all welds
or selected welds.
Note:
- Seam weld material assignment affects all analysis types. If you do
not assign materials to seam welds, automatic assignment occurs when
an analysis is solved, based on what parts are connected to the
weld. If parts with multiple materials are connected, the stiffer
material is assigned to the weld.
- Spot weld material assignment only affects fatigue simulations. For
all structural analyses, automatic assignment occurs when an
analysis is solved, based on what parts are connected to the weld.
If parts with multiple materials are connected, the stiffer material
is assigned to the weld.
