Comments

  1. The identifier must be unique in each element family, but it is advised for each element type to have a unique element identifier in the global model.
  2. More than one triangular shell block can be used to define a part.
  3. Any number of triangular shells can be defined in one block.
  4. Using different numbers for 3-node and 4-node shells is recommended.
  5. For Coordinate system in 3-node shell element, refer to Radioss Coordinate System in the User Guide.
  6. If def_orth = 1, the orthotropy angle, ϕ s is only used in /PLY and /PROP/TYPE19 (PLY).
