Generate Streamlines on Surfaces

Use the Surface Streamlines tool to create streamlines on surfaces with given seeds.

1. From the Post ribbon, click the Surface Streamlines tool.

2. Select surfaces on which to generate seeds.
   Tip: Click to select surfaces "By Boundaries" or "By Surface Outputs".
3. Click Seeds on the guide bar.
4. Click on the selected surface(s) to position the seeds.
   1. Click on an individual seed to modify its position.
   2. Optional: Define the streamline direction and vector variable in the microdialog.
5. Click Calculate to generate streamlines.
   A new Surface Streamline entity is added to the Post Browser,
6. Define the streamline display properties.
7. On the guide bar, click to confirm your selection and remain in the tool or click to confirm your selection and exit the tool.
