Create Design Points

  1. On each design point set, you can access the Auto DDP option available in the context menu. Auto DDP provides a set of options to create design points.
    • A selector to reduce detection area
    • Options for pattern detection
    • Options for structural property to create and assign (if any)
  2. Click OK.
    An algorithm detects patterns and generates a collection of design points inside the parent design point set. Depending on the options, it also creates and/or assigns structural properties. Auto DDP always creates new design points inside a design point set, no matter what already exist in the database. This allows you to have multiple design points at the same location, but with different structural properties.
