Wall
Configure the thermal boundary conditions by defining the temperature, convection, and heat flux.
-
On the Fluids ribbon, select the Wall tool.

 - Select an outlet or surface.
 -
In the microdialog, select a Boundary condition:

- Temperature
 - Convection
 - Heat Flux

 - Based on the boundary condition you selected, follow the relevant steps below.

Temperature
Define the temperature of a selected surface to change the temperature of the fluid when it encounters that surface.
Convection
Define the heat transfer coefficient and ambient temperature of a selected surface to change the temperature of the fluid when it encounters that surface.
- Select one or more surfaces where the convection occurs.
 - In the microdialog, enter the HTC (heat transfer coefficient) between the fluid surface and the solid surface.
 - Enter the Ambient Temperature of the solid surface.

Heat Flux
Add a flow of energy per unit of area per unit of time to a selected surface to change the fluid's temperature when it encounters that surface.
- Select the surface where you want to add the heat flux.
 - In the microdialog, enter the Heat Flux.
