Create Generic Response

Create a generic response from any solver result file HyperWorks can read.

1. From the Design Explorer ribbon, click next to Responses and select Generic Response.
2. In the Create Generic Response dialog, enter a name in the Response Name field.
3. In the Result File field, click to browse for a result file.
   The dialog fields automatically populate based on the result file selection.
4. Review and edit additional response options.
5. Optional: Click Plot to view a graph of the run results for the selected result file.
6. Click Create Response.
