Choice of application: strategies

Introduction

The applications available in Flux software are listed in § Synopsis of physical applications. The choice of an application depends on the problem type and on the desired results.

Example

A transformer can be the object of at least two different analysis:

• magnetic analysis, in order to evaluate the Joule losses;
• electric analysis in order to evaluate the risks of collapse.

It will be treated by Steady state AC Magnetic application and by Electro Static application respectively.
