What we can simulate?

By using regions it is possible to describe:

  • material media such as:
    • comprising of air or vacuum (permittivity εr =1)
    • dielectric media (permittivity εr)

      with possibly a source of electrical charges

  • boundary conditions of the following types:
    • perfect conductor (normal field on the surface and equipotential surface)
    • density of imposed electrical charges (on faces or on lines)
    • imposed electrical potential (on faces or on lines)
    • normal electrical field (on faces)
    • tangent electrical field (on faces)
