Voltage/current source: definition (structure)
Definition
A voltage source or current source component is defined by:
- a name (and a comment)
 - a model
 - specific characteristics depending on the model
 - two terminals

Name
The name permitting the identification of the component is given by the user when it is created.
A comment (optional) can be added to the name.
The name and the comment are displayed by default in the graphic zone close to the symbol.
Source components: description
Characteristic quantities, necessary for the description of the source components: voltage source and current source, are presented in the table below.
| Source | Function | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| time dependent | complex | ||
| voltage source | U(t) = formula | U(t) = U0ej(ωt + φ) |
                         Rms value Phase  |

| current source | I(t) = formula | I(t) = I0ej(ωt + φ) |
                         Rms value Phase  |
