Define Surfaces with No Boundary Layer

Use the No Boundary Layer tool to define surfaces on which boundary layers should not be created nor imprinted.

This is useful when you have complex models where only a few surfaces need boundary layers.

  1. From the Mesh ribbon, click the Mesh Controls tool set, then select No Boundary Layer.

    Figure 1.
  2. Select surfaces on which boundary layers are not required and neighboring layers should not be imprinted.
  3. From the guide bar, execute the command in the following ways:
    • Click to confirm your selection and remain in the tool.

This allows you to continue creating instances and helps you visualize and edit instances with the legend.

    • Click to confirm your selection and exit the tool.
