Grant PBS Manager and Operator privileges, specify whether users can query the status of jobs owned by another user, and specify
how usernames are treated across all machines in a HPC cluster.
The real-time dashboard in Control (currently in preview release stage), provides live data in a single page to view
several aspects about the overall operation of a cluster.
Limit the number of vnodes allowed to be in the process of being
provisioned.
If a vnode is to be provisioned, but cannot because the number of concurrently
provisioning vnodes has reached the specified maximum, the vnode goes into the
wait-provisioning state. No jobs are run on vnodes in the wait-provisioning
state.
Click the Configure tab.
Choose the HPC to configure.
Click Limits from the
PBS Professional menu located on the left-hand side of the
web page.
Click located in the upper right-hand corner of the web page.
Enable the Display Advanced Settings check box.
Click located to the right of Max Concurrent
Vnodes Provisioning.
For Max Concurrent Vnodes Provisioning, enter the
maximum number of vnodes allowed to be in the process of being provisioned.
