Grant PBS Manager and Operator privileges, specify whether users can query the status of jobs owned by another user, and specify
how usernames are treated across all machines in a HPC cluster.
The real-time dashboard in Control (currently in preview release stage), provides live data in a single page to view
several aspects about the overall operation of a cluster.
Grant PBS Manager and Operator privileges, specify whether users can query the status of jobs owned by another user, and specify
how usernames are treated across all machines in a HPC cluster.
A Manager is authorized to use all restricted capabilities of PBS. A PBS Manager
may act upon the server, queues, or jobs.
Managers can do the following:
All operations that Operators can perform
Create or delete queues or vnodes
Set all Server, queue, and vnode attributes, including Server ACLs
Click the Configure tab.
Choose the HPC to configure.
Click Security from the
PBS Professional menu located on the left-hand side of the
web page.
Click located to the right of Managers.
For Managers, enter a comma separated list of
users:
Users must be entered in the format:
“user@host.sub.domain[,user@host.sub.domain...]”. The host, sub-domain, or
domain name may be wildcarded with an asterisk (*).
