Learn the basics and discover the workspace.
- Platform Support
  Platforms, operating systems, and processors supported by Altair Simulation 2022.3 products, which includes 2022.3 solver packages.
- User Interface
  Explore the HyperWorks CFD user interface.
- Adjust the View
  View controls enable you to control the view and display of your model in the modeling window.
- Selection
  Select and deselect entities to modify with other HyperWorks CFD tools. Selected entities are outlined to indicate their selection state.
  - Entity Selectors
    Use entity selectors to specify which type of entity you are able to select.
  - Select Entities
  - Append and Remove Entities From a Selection
  - Graphical Selection (Idle Mode)
  - Perform Extended Entity Selection
    Use extended entity selection to find, filter, and select subsets of entities. You can also save and retrieve previous selections.
