Import of curve: about

Introduction

The user can import a curve in the Flux environment by two different ways:

  • Import of curve starting from a Flux type file
  • Import of curve starting from a formatted file

The imported curve is created as an entity in one of the entities types of:

  • 2D curves:
    • 2D curve (Path)
    • 2D curve (I/O parameter)
    • 2D curve (Material)
  • 3D curves:
    • 3D curve (2D grid)
    • 3D curve (path + I/O parameter)
    • 3D curve (2 I/O parameters)
Remember: a Flux curve entity is a sheet that can contain several curves to be displayed, therefore we discuss about an elementary curve.

Creation context

To identify the origin of the imported curve, the necessary information is collected in the tab creation context. This is accessible once the curve has been displayed or by editing the created curve.

Possible actions

Once the imported curves have been recognized as a Flux 2D or 3D curves entities, it benefits from the same possible actions to be known (see 2D curve and see 3D curve ):

  • Export the data: Command of export Excel, Txt, Python, Clipboard (contains all the values)
  • Copying only the values of displayed curve (in the tab Values click on )
  • Print (on printer or in a file)
  • Hide/Display
  • Derivate/Integrate
  • Delete
