Context Menus

Context menus are floating menus that are accessed by right-clicking on elements in the user interface. They provides immediate access to a short list of commands that are contextually relevant to the selection.

Context menus are found throughout the application. They are most commonly used:
  • In the modeling window (both in empty space and with a selection)
  • In browsers (both in empty space and with a selection)
  • To manage custom ribbons
When a tool is active, the right-click context menu in the modeling window incorporates an exit control.

Select an option to close the menu and remain in the current active tool. Mouse through or click the check mark to exit both the menu and the tool.
