Import EDEM files and merge with MotionSolve models to edit and create fully rendered animations in both real-time and full rendering.

EDEM is high-performance software for bulk and granular material simulation. Powered by DEM, EDEM quickly and accurately simulates and analyzes the behavior of coal, mined ores, soils, fibers, grains, tablets, powders, and more.

  1. Open a MotionSolve model.
  2. Go to File > Import and select a .h5 EDEM file.
  3. Choose from the following import options:
    Option Description
    Range of files Displays the range of files found (from the index of the first file to the index of the last file).
    First file Define the index of the first file.
    Last file Define the index of the last file.
    One file every Define the interval for importing files. For example, to import every fifth file, enter 5.
