Grouping of Parts

Follow these guidelines for grouping parts.

1. Group parts in the following major categories:
   • Upper body
   • Cabin floor
   • Powertrain
   • Front End Airflow
   • Chassis
   • Outer parts
   1. Create sets based on each group.

   2. Select parts using assemblies or manually selecting them in the modeling window.
   3. Upper body and Cabin floor are combined to form a watertight cabin.
   4. Outer part selection also depends on design iterations. For example, if air dam changes between iterations, put it in outer parts rather than upper body.
2. Save each group of parts in a separate .hm file. Create sets based on each group.
   1. For modeling efficiency, create a separate session for each group.
